Available in both the standard SUV form and the Coupe variant, this E-Hybrid model sits between the base E-Hybrid and the high-performance Turbo E-Hybrid. With increased power and enhanced performance, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid offers an enticing blend of electric efficiency and the athleticism of a supercar.

Performance and Power

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid boasts a slight power bump over the base E-Hybrid, resulting in a total system output of 512 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. This upgrade of 49 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque translates into a swift 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 4.4 seconds. Notably, this acceleration time is two-tenths quicker than the base E-Hybrid and even outpaces the V8-powered gasoline-only Cayenne S.

Under the hood, the revised 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine contributes to the power increase. The vehicle comes equipped with Porsche's adaptive air suspension as standard, along with the Sport Chrono package, a quad exhaust system, and 20-inch wheels. In terms of aesthetics, the standard Cayenne S E-Hybrid features a silver exterior package, while the Coupe variant comes with a black exterior package. You also get the Diamar interior package in Silvershade, stainless steel pedals, eight-way power seats, Matrix LED headlights, and blind-spot warning as standard equipment.

Electrification Upgrades

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid benefits from Porsche's electric powertrain enhancements for the 2024 Cayenne lineup. This includes the larger 25.9 kWh battery pack and an 11-kilowatt onboard charger, resulting in faster Level 2 charging times. Porsche claims that charging from 0-100% will take approximately 2.5 hours.

Price and Availability

With its added performance and equipment, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid comes with a slightly higher price tag compared to the base E-Hybrid. It starts at $100,750, but if you opt for the Coupe body style, the base price increases to $105,650. Interested buyers can place orders now, and the vehicle is expected to arrive at dealerships in spring 2024.
